Hooker on the Loose

Police have resumed the search for a New Jersey prostitute who disappeared
last year after visiting a home on Long Island.

Suffolk County Commissioner Richard Dormer said last week that investigators
don't believe Shannan Gilbert is one of the victims of a suspected serial
killer. But police say there's still a possibility that Gilbert may be dead,

DuhFuck!? Please excuse my insensitivity on the matter. I don't want to
sound like a heartless asshole. but sometimes you have to put your morals in
your back pocket and say what needs to be said. Are we really dedicating tax
money and police time to the search of a prostitute!? I'm not saying that
hookers aren't people too, and that they aren't essential to the progression
of the human race. but really? This is the best task that Suffolk Police
Department can come up with? I can just imagine how that morning staff
meeting went.

"Settle down, settle down. This just in from headquarters. We have a hooker
that turned up missing. You all know Shannan right? She usually works in
front of IHOP. Well she hasn't been seen in a couple of days and the Mayor
is becoming worried that something terrible has happened to her."
Excuse me BUT-UHHHHHHHHHHH, turning up missing is part of the profession.

The article states that she vanished,(in a instant poof of purple smoke and
glitter filled confetti) after visiting home. What hooker takes the holidays
off? Apparently she saved her sick days up and went home right her Black
Friday BJ sale.

People I'm not being rude or harsh here, I'm just saying, there are more
pressing cases out there than a lazy hooker. The police shouldn't be
assigned to this, maybe Scooby doo or Eddie Murphy.
